I downloaded a song but it turned out to be a fake file and now I want to delete it but when I select the file and right click on it, the delete button does not show up. How do I delete this file now??

Congratulations, You appear to have malware.

Get adaware, spybot, windows defender. All are free.
Install them.
Run them.
re-boot in safe mode.
run them again, and run ad/remove programs.

If you are using Windows go through start find search click music hit search then stop then select hidden files then search all your sounds on the computer will come up find the song that you are looking for and delete it from there highlight right click you can get rid of all the song that you do not like and everything that is incomplete will say incomplete along the bottom

you didn't specify where the file is, is it in a particular program you are using, are you looking at it directly in Windows? Can you left click on it, then press the Delete button?

TO DELETE THAT ******* FAKE FILE!
0 SELECT TOOL
1 GO TO FOLDER OPTION
2 NOW SELECT TO SHOW FILE EXTENSION
AFTER THAT CHANE THE FILE EXTENSION ex *.FCK WHAT EVER NOW HTE TIME IS TO GET RID OF THAT ******* THING !
GO AHEAD DELETE IT!

go into delete options and click delete button.
it will come
there is no other option if i am right.

click on it once then hit delete on your keyboard!

try to restart your computer.. maybe some of your program is using it.. that's why you cant delete it..

see if it has the read-only option on. turn it of and try again.
