Silly putty. Building Bricks.
Battling tops, Jump rope, Slinky, Boobie Trap,
Twister, Playing Cards, Tressy Doll,(Her Hair Grows!), Misty Doll, (with hair colouring pens), Play dough.
Don't break the Ice!
The very best of all. Cardboard Boxes and Imagination.
We used our imagination a lot more than I think children are these days. More stuff and spending more money doesn't seem to be making children happier and better adjusted. Possibly the opposite.
God Bless You, ;-)

The best toy then and now is Lego. If you have a creative bone in your body, you'll agree with me.

It would have to be my Barbie Doll and townhouse. I grew up in the '60's so my Barbie was not fancy nor was the townhouse but I had hours of fun with them.
