I have heard so many different answers about howlong a sperm can live inside the uterus. And I have read some different answers online also. Which is it 3-5 days or up to a week?

7 days actually - the egg only lives for 24 hours though.

First, sperms NEVER make to the uterus!!!! Only the fertilized eggs do. Sperm can live in your body for 2-3 days, maybe even 5 days if it's optimum condition.

google ovulation and the results have web sites that say you ovulate 11-24 days after the first day of your period. The most fertile time is one or two days before ovulation or 24 hours after ovulation. If you have sex in this time you can get pregnant, even from pre-nut which is before the actual ejaculation. Usually sperm lives for three to four days according to babycenter.com but the egg only lives for 24 hours. But trust me he doesn't have to actually ejaculate to get pregnant. I am 9 months right now and I conceived on the 11th day after the start of my cycle.

from my high school biology and college human sexuality classes, WITHOUT fertilizing an egg, the sperm can live up to 4 days. once one fertilizes an egg... up to 120 years.....

exactly no one knows! it depends upon the condition in the vaginal canal and uterus! the ph and some bacteria present in the vagina. it also depends on the strenght of the sperm itself!

MY OB/GYN SAID SPERM CAN LIVE 3-5 DAYS. WE ARE CURRENTLY TRYING TO CONCEIVE #2 SO I KNOW THIS IS ACCURATE INFORMATION.
