I'm not from Chicago. But I do know Massage Therapy is a great career. Start early though. After 10 or 15 years you will have to stop. It's a lot of hard work on the hands. You need to work out and have a lot of upper body strength. Very good money. If your smart and invest while your working you can retire early. Look for Massage schools on the Internet in your local city. There will be a list with address's and phone numbers. Good luck.

Massage therapy is a good career if you like to deal with all kinds of people. I haven't gone to school but keep going back and forth about it because I'm not too sure about massaging certain people. I've heard horror stories from other massage therapists and don't know if I could handle some of the people they have to deal with. I live near Chicago and have been told that Chicago School of Massage is one of the best schools to go to.

I've heard you can get jobs on cruise ships or in high-end resorts. Sounds like a good travel opportunity, but you don't really get to do anything on the ship except touch people's sweaty backs and feet, so that doesn't sound too appealing.
