i can see that muslims and the rest of the world are upset, but what specifically did he say to anger everybody?

He said just plain truth, even if he was quoting, and if someone wants to argue the contrary they just proved what the pope was quoting, and the rest of the world is not upset, only Muslims!

Well what the beloved pope basically quoted was that the religion was evil and was being forced on people sounds familiar don't it pope i think the pope should look closer to home before he throws any stones.

He quoted a Byzantine Emperor from 400 years ago who said show me anything Muhammad's religion brought that wasn't evil or inhumane and something else about spreding the religion by sword. Very offensive.

called them violent and intolerant of other religions...so they retaliated by attacking people, burning a church and killing a nun...makes you wonder.
