pick a American Female doctor or a Chinese Male doctor?

I'd pick the most qualified doctor I could find, and I wouldn't care whether it was a he, she, or what their ethnic background was.
I might look for signs of ethical practice, I might look for other qualifying intangible things like their personality - I'd want to meet the doctors and discuss things with them before I made a choice. but I wouldn't pick the surgeon based on their gender, their ethnicity, or any combination of those factors - those two traits alone are not enough information to make a cautious and informed choice especially when it comes to saving your life.

I am a nurse and I would pick a female doctor. I am also one step away from being a doctor. I gradute in June and I would hope ppl would feel comfortable with me, here in USA.

an american female doctor, exuse me i do not understand chinese.if the chinese doctor is american or any country witch i understand the language, the choise will go strictly to the more competent to the operation i need

why wouldn't i? i'm picking whichever doctor knows what the HELL they are doing!!
have u ever been concerned with the fact that doctors don't have to disclose where they graduated in their class? your surgeon could have been an purified idiot in med school. but since he's an american white male, you trust him? i trust experience! and not just any experience, verified and qualified experience! i don't care if the doctor looks like liquid poop.

Doesn't really matter, whoever is the closes, i guess. And besides, their skill is determined by their gender or race, is the individual themselves. But if you ask me, I prefer a hot latina doctor or nurse to save my life anyday.
