Favre still has it in him.i think he's still a great QB and can get the job done. he has a great throwing arm.but the rest of the team need to work on their game. they need a better Defense. and the Offense need to help favre make the plays.they need to learn and catch the ball and hold on to it.and they need better running plays. if the packers had the right players and favre as the QB they could go all the way. you can't blame it all on favre.i think he should had gone to a other team a good team and would of won a championship. thats what i believe. but he would never leave green bay.he started as a cheesehead he will go out as a cheesehead.plus it hard to leave the game you love.but this is his last year 4 sure.

I really hate all the "Farve bashing," most of the time it is just nasty and hatefull made by ignorant losers who don't deserve to carry the man's jock-strap to the laundry room. Brett Farve is a decent, honest, hard-worker who has overcome all kinds of adversity to become a star, SB winning quarterback and he doesn't deserve some of the ugly attacks from ignorant hicks.
With that off my chest, I have to agree that he didn't have "another year in him" LAST YEAR! An aging star quarterback might go a year or two longer than he should with a great team and a good coach (like Elway did). But with a terrible team and a mediocre coach, its "game over" and sooner or later he's going to get badly hurt!

John Madden, stop posting as Don J. Your lust for Brett is already revolting enough; now using aliases so people won't think it's you is degrading.
Well, if Brett wants to go 2-14 next year, so be it, because they're headed there this year.

He had another year left in him about 5 years ago. Sad to see pro's who don't know when to hang it up!

I agree. I think it is him and his performance. I thought he was going to retire last season, but he did not. I think this will be his last game of his career.

Yep I agree. But I guess he must be hoping he will leave victoriously.
