why does every granola bar eating, hemp smoking, rasta hate wearing, save the rain forest college smart *** have to compare bush to hitler?
is it because of the multitudes of soldiers that have
died? maybe. but that's war. war is hell. regardless of the figure head or leader we're going to have fallen soldiers. look at the american revolution or the civil war. we wouldn't live in a country today where people could arbitraily compare G.W to one of the worst(or best?) despots in the 20th century if those sacrifices havn't been made.

The fact that George Bush has been a good president in very difficult times is lost on the liberals. They don't let facts get in the way of criticizing our president.

What the liberals are upset about is that the voters did not did not vote for them and that they are out of "power". All one has to do is listen to their constant lies about Bush to see how power hungry they are. In their attempts to regain power they even give aid and comfort to the Muslim Terrorists that declared war against us on 9/11.

You can tell by the Dem/Liberals use of emotional sound bytes and slogans instead of reasoned arguments that their only concern is to regain power.

That's why the liberals compare Bush to Hitler. The leaders are lying and the followers are not intelligent enough to be able to tell the difference between lies and the truth.

I like how going to college automatically makes you a smartass. And to think, those that didn't get higher education lecturing those that did/do.

Bush isn't Hitler. He's not nearly as cunning, nearly as good an orator. He's also not as insane. But there are some similarities, though a fairly small. Both did use a group of people as a scapegoat. The Patriot Act is eerily similar to acts made by Hitler prior to World War II. They both are aggressors in starting wars. They both also made people hate their respective countries.

Edit:

Mverb, I just recently saw that video. While it does bring up some very, very interesting and good points, you really can't take that video to be factual. Many, many of the quotes are taken out of context, and some things are just blatantly not true. At the same time, though, there are some very interesting things that are unaccounted for.

For instance, the way the building fell straight down at near vacuum speed, seems very shady. The building infrastructure should have made if fall slower, unless of course the bottom was also damaged. Then of course, you have the fact that one plane wouldn't cause the building to collapse, nor would the fireball caused by the plane. This is all based on physics and chemistry, which are not debateable.

Also interesting is the fact that they never did release the videos of the pentagon attack, which seems pretty shady. But most of the other stuff in there is not reported well at all, so you shouldn't buy into it wholly.

You have to go back to when the Democrats started the KKK after the civil war. Democrats have always been racists and anti-Semitic. Democrats didn't think what Hitler did was such a bad thing in their eyes. After all, Democrats hated the Jews as much as Hitler did during WWII.

After losing two presidential elections in a row, so many Democrats became depressed, that there was a 17% surge in psychiatric visits just after the last presidential election.

Subconsciously, the depressed liberals were seeking a permanent solution to their pain in the form of suicide. They figured if Hitler killed people that spoke out against the Nazis, the same welcomed fate would happen to Democrats if Bush was Hitler. They secretly wanted someone to kill them. So, you see, it's all part of the twisted illogical thinking of the liberal left that makes them want to be killed by jack-booted Gestapos, because they lost the election and hate Bush. Each hysterical shout of "Bush is Hitler!" is a slash to their own wrist, in not only psychological terms, but in political terms as well.

It is obvious a tactic that is designed to shock...that said the comparisons of manipulating the populace in order to create a utopian society are accurate. The biggest difference is that Hitler was evil and though I disagree with George Bush on every point and think he would do himself and the nation a service by reading and truly absorbing the words of the constitution and the Declaration of Independence, I do not believe he his evil, just misguided.
As for the war comparisons...they too are misguided. The revolution was about freeing the US from an unfair and norepresentative rule, The Civil War was about the South not feeling they had true representation and the North wanting to preserve the union. In both cases you have a clear cut need for resolution in order to secure and/or develop the American way of life, anyone who truly thinks the same can be said for the current turmoil in Iraq is wrong. As a citizen I am not upset at Bush for going to war...I am upset with Bush for going into a war that had no clear cut exit strategy and no true clear cut benefit to the nation.

I guess there are so many different ideas as to how Bush and Hitler are so very much alike that it scares the average sane person to tears and the biggest reason for them being so much alike is the fact that neither gave OR in Bush's case give a damn about anyone except for his own glory and no matter how many innocent people are murdered it will never change the fact that only years separate them and nothing else.
Both are evil through and through and now that Bush is here and it looks as if no one in any part of our government has the true guts to start impeachment against Bush and his vice president that I'm ashamed to call him president mush less leader of this once GREAT country that has fallen into the hands of the Bush Hitler era.
I for one can't wait to see him leave office because it's a long time waiting for him to part this office that he stole or should I say bought.
War is hell but why can't anyone ever work for world peace anyway? Is peace such a dirty word anyway that no one ever wants to talk about it or much less work for it?
To hell with war and those who crave it and deliver us unto peace before it's to late.
God bless America and God bless every country under God.

Bush & Hitler? Hmm. Let's look . . . .
1. Bush's military is comprised 100% of volunteers, while Hitler's was those who were drafted or ordered, if you will, into his military.
2. Bush may have started the war, but he is not calling for the execution of anyone. He seeks to bring to justice those he has deemed responsible for attacks and threats against this nation. Hitler, on the other hand, executed his own people and then wanted to proceed to executing Russia, the U.K., France, the U.S.
3. Bush is the leader of a democracy, while Hitler was the leader of a dictatorship. If a senator disagrees with the President, then he voices his opinion on every major media outlet, so that he is sure Mr. Bush gets his or her message of disgust. If anyone disagreed with Hitler, well they were dealt the swift hand of fate.
4. Bush is trying to help his nation for the good of the international community. Why do you think he and some of his Cabinet members keep meeting with foreign heads of state? Hitler, on the other hand, was trying to take over the world. All he felt he needed to do was get Russia out of the way (good for him, Russia took itself out of the way), keep the U.S. occupied with the Japanese, and proceed to ravage Europe. Once Europe was his, it would be time to cross the Atlantic.

I could continue with several other points, but it is late, and I must get to sleep. Good question, though.

well I am a Canadian and would like to tell you that I read somewhere that over 20% of Canadians see Bush as Hitler because they are aware of the truth of 9/11. I am not sure if you know exactly went on during 9/11 but the government conspired to push forward its political agenda, which is unethical. see this video, loose change 2, http://www.loosechange911.com/

Bush is like Hitler:

1. Hitler rose to power by burning down a building and blaming it on someone else. George Bush conspired 9/11 so Americans would beleive that they were under a "threat" so the government could push it's political agenda forward, ie. War in Iraq, (to get oil) and sign into congress the patriot act.

2. Hitler killed many of jewish and handicapped people in the Holocaust, and G. W. Bush also killed thousands of people on 9/11 to scare everyone that their was a threat.

THIS IS TRUE... u have to be stupid not to believe it... watch the video on this site and tell me if im wrong

Gee, doesn't sound like you're so much asking a question as you are spouting your opinion. It has nothing to do with the multitudes of soldiers that have died. It's about:

a) War making and saber rattling, especially to divert attention from domestic problems.
b) Surrounding oneself with yes-men.
c) Spouting propaganda. It was actually better in Nazi Germany because there, the people KNEW it was propaganda. Here you get a bunch of flag-waving idiots who want to go along with anything GWB says, even though HE IS LYING TO THEM.

GWB hasn't slaughtered innocent masses. That's an unfair comparison. (He has, however, shown no compassion for the people who need him most.) But his style, his rhetoric, etc, are very Hitler-esque.

There. Ask a stupid question, get a smart answer. How about that?

comparing the consequence of the Dubya's decision in the Middle East to the American revolution is totally out of place. You compare the unasked meddling in other's affairs to War ? You are confused, IMO.

Like Hitler's time thousands of innocent civilians and soldiers have died fighting an unwanted War, due to the terribly miscalculated decision of the great and might G.W.Bush. so yes he is very much like Hitler.

I personally don't think Bush is anywhere near as bad as Hitler was, but there are some similarities. Both Hitler and Bush blamed a certain group of people for a countries problems... sort of. I do get tired of those friggin hippies myself though.
