Of course it is acceptable. Just because you believe does not mean you have to sequester yourself in a dark corner. You can be a believer and follow your own course and make your own choices as long as you follow the teachings. You also just need to hold yourself to a higher standard. Having fun with friends is not wrong. Acting badly, treating others & yourself badly/unkindly/rudely is. Even our boy JC tiped a few back w/friends, but he did good while doing so (though I suspect he did & you better also... turned the keys over or walked... drinking & driving is NEVER acceptable behavior ever. For all you know maybe your purpose is to be designated driver to friends. Or maybe there is someone who you are supposed to meet & help... ect...). You never know, your kindness to someone who expected the "usual club behavior" might actually make a difference & you would have never made that difference if you had never made the effort.

We never know how the "big picture" is going to run for us. For all we know we are supposed to be where we are supposed to be at a given time to make a difference. I try not to analyze it too deeply & let it happen with faith. Go out have fun, but remember to always be kind & not judgemental. It's not for you to judge, but you can try to lead by example just as you follow by example. there are many temptations out there. I also suspect that you will find that the behavior of many in a club or party is a bit bothersome in it's indulgence. You just need to know that you are stronger then that and over come & keep true to your faith and beliefs. & if nothing else have some fun!

God drew all lines, all other lines are man made lines & untrue. God made everything + man then give everything to man to have & use, that means sex, drugs, alcohol, candy, milk, etc, etc. Now, if you abuse these things then you have committed sin. Everyone knows to what point they are abusing most things, but
things like sex you have to read the bible to know what lines God drew for that.
Going to clubs is no different than going to the mall, you'll find the very same people there. What you do in the mall, club, church or where ever you are must not contradict what God says or you sin. That's to say that some clubs would be off limit. If you can't go to a club, mall, church, etc without being influenced the wrong way you must build up resistence or go somewhere less tempting. It's obvious that strip joints & the like are places you wouldn't go. Don't worry about what other people are doing keep yourself as sinless as possible & Read the bible.
Most beliefs make you think you need to lock yourself in a closet to stay free of sin, but get on out there & have fun it's a gift from God.

Why would it not be? As a Christian, you know your values through the guidance of your faith in G-d and the teachings of Jesus Christ. While going to parties and night clubs on a nightly basis may not be viewed by many as moral, you must decide for yourself what you believe to be right.

Throughout The Bible there are celebrations involving rituals which encouraged the consumption of alcohol and other types of partying which have since evolved into new forms. You must decide with your faith whether visiting such establishments is right for you and agreeable with your faith.

I personally go to night clubs and parties, although I make sure to keep myself from doing so on a regular basis. I limit my exposure to such establishments and types of entertainment for special events.

As long as you are fully aware to undertake all consequences that come along with every single of your actions. In fact, every adult should be doing that, not only Christians.
I do not recall any Christian teaching that states that we can't go to parties and clubs after accepting Christ.
It was HUMAN whom had altered or added rules and regulations to regulate the behaviour of a certain group of people.

I didn't think there were many religous sects around that outlawed dancing, and many priests and ministers drink wine as part of the service. What is wrong with going to a party?

You are to be in the world but not of the world. Is all that is done and said @ clubs edifying? I think not.I am surprised you would have to ask the question. Bottom line it's your call.

The devil draws lines and dares Christians to cross them....and once you've crossed that line, you have crossed over onto HIS territory, and you are fair game for his temptations and spirits to start plaguing you. If you stay on God's territory, where you know you are safe, the devil cannot harm you because the line that you have drawn is the line made from the blood of Jesus on the cross...your protection....and Satan cannot cross the bloodline!

No. Christians are not allowed to have any kind of fun or do anything that human beings were meant to do. You're supposed to sit in the house all day praying. That is it.

Not if there's drugs, sex out of wedlock, excessive drinking, fighting, or strippers. I think that these rules should pretty much apply to everyone.

sure, just watch what you do and what you're thinking about while you're there. if you know that going will lead you down a wrong path, then you shouldn't go.
