Honey if you're gonna be sexually active then you will need to have an annual exam... it's part of being a woman.

There are several different birth control pills in different strengths and different drugs. It's not a one kind fits all. Some women must try several different birth control pills to find one they can use with fewest side effects.

There are some mail-order pharmacies (search Google) based outside the U.S.A. that do not require a prescription. Thing is you need to know what you want to buy.

If you are going to pretend to be responsible enough to have sex, then you need to suck it up and be responsible enough to go to your gyno and get the exam.

Birth control pills are not available over the counter, and for good reason!! Your doctor knows best which one to put you on, since there are so many choices out there.

The health dept. and planned parenthood will both see you on a sliding scale, which means they only charge you what you can afford, according to your income.

The very best bc, however, is abstinence if you are not married. No worries of pregnancy, no STD's, no guilty feelings or wondering if your parents are going to find out, no shattered emotions when he doesn't call you in a week. It's just something to think about.

Part of having sex is going to the doctor on a regular basis, at least once a year. There are no OTC B.C.P. in the US. Condoms work really well as long as you use them every time.

In the US, it is illegal to sell BC pills over the counter. It's not a bad exam and you need to have a pap smear if you are sexually active. So, go to the doctor.

There is a natural method that uses the mucous method and the temperature one. You would have to check online for a book written about it or ask your doctor.
They are used in combination with each other to be most effective. Very simple to do.
