I'm an Aussie who's been the the USA, but not Britain, but I've met so many Britons to say that aussieblond is correct in saying not many differences between Aussies and Brits. But America is very different, including:
1. Much more religiousity, church-going, belief in creationism etc
2. Extreme gun culture with 38% of households owning a gun, very high murder and crime rates compared to the other countries.
3. Much more begging and hustling in the USA due to less developed social security system.
4. Lower levels of trust: in Australia, you can still fuel up your vehicle before you pay the money, and read the labels on liquor bottles as they are on open display, not behind steel bars.
5. Many Americans more insular and not as aware of what is going on in other countries, both Britain and Australia have independent news sources, BBC and ABC, which is much better than the big-business monopoly on news in the USA.
6. Americans play baseball, Britons and Aussies play cricket.
7. Americans drive on the right hand side of the road.
But America has given us blues, jazz, bourbon whisky and the internet, so it's not all bad.

It's probably better to say 'white caucasian' as there haven't been any Anglo Saxons for over a thousand years!
There are differences, of course but the similarities are more striking.

I'm in oz, my parents and entire family are English and irish (northern), i never really notice any major difference between oz and UK ( with the exception of my relo's being alot whiter than me), the english relo's can be a bit more cynical than the Aussies, but then again the Aussies can be a bit more up front and in your face than the English. the English are bit more rushed (no more than a city Aussie though) and Aussies are bit more layed back and care free. and the irish side of the family are very much like the aussies and with us all being in a constiutional monarchy we basicaly have the same laws.....havent been to the US or have any US relo's so dont know about the differences there.
