I only want to get the FX channel (to watch Nip/Tuck) and rather not pay $50 for cable every month... anyone know of anyone to subscribe to one channel only? It could be through a company or some service online. Anyone know?

Thanks!!

Once upon a time, it was possible to just get the pay movie channels outside of cable package. (For example, my family had Select TV movie channel, my friend's family had HBO)

Today, it is just as cost effective to get the whole bundle, especially if you only need the basic package.

If you really only want one show, just wait until it's out on DVD. I heard about "Deadwood" on HBO, but I didn't need to add HBO to my cable just to see it, when I can just rent the DVD from Blockbuster.

It is not possible to just subscribe to one channel they tend to come in packages. Find a friend who also enjoys nip/tuck and join them on their sofa

No, you can't do that. Some places will add it for an extra fee.
