Tips on teaching violin?

I have been playing violin for eight years and I have decided to start teaching. Can anyone give me some good techniques that I can use to teach violin.

Not everyone who plays violin can teach it. You must first have a desire to teach and to teach not only the playing of the instruments but the basics about notes and rests etc.
