i dont under stand it i drive a truck over the road and a truck stop on a friday night will charge 27.00 for a buff and ryans and barns hill for two will be 15.00 to 20.00 with all you can eat stake porkchops why dose truck stops charge so much more and have
less to offer

Most truck stops are either privately owned, or members of small chains, and therefore cannot purchase product in volumes similar to the larger chain restaurants. Further, most truck stops offer larger facilities (the large parking lot for your large truck to park and drive around on, for example) and a greater range of services than the typical restaurant. Those facilities and services increase operational costs and must be covered somewhere.

Sorry to say but its a matter of convenience. You are not likely to drive that truck to one of the other places and the truck stop knows it.
