I've been to IMAX theaters many times and find the movies a mixed bag. Like any movie, an IMAX movie is best when it tells an interesting story. I've seen dull IMAX movies and I've seen exciting IMAX movies. When they are exciting, it is a blast watching them on the huge IMAX screen.
One of the best I've seen lately was called something like "Fighter Pilot." It was really pretty good.
By the way, I had to leave midway through one IMAX film because of a fire alarm. As I left the theater, firefighters were coming in!

I went to an IMAX before there were such things. They used to have them at the amusement parks. They are good, but: I long for the return of Panoramic video Like How The West Was Won, movies so large that they took three screens to show the film. that was empressive.

Yes, I've been several times before. It's cool.
However, I don't know why i always fall asleep and dizzy during the movie in IMAX.

Yes. I've seen several IMAX type movies. They are good, you should check one out. It's usually very scenic like you are right there. A great way to present a nature film or documentary.

i like the IMAX when its like a nature show because then its really 3D if you are just going there for a movie like superman or something.. then its a waste b/c its more expensive and all it is is on a really big screen

It was awesome. I saw one in Las Vegas the movie was in Craesar's Palace. I was called The Race to Alantic. I went a few years ago. I also saw in a Platerium in Salt Lake City, Ut. That one was called Into the deep 3-D (it was in the ocean). That was cool.

I saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire there...great stuff...the music coming out of those speakers had my friend kept moving back away from the sound till she was slouched in her seat! It's good for big, cool, epic movies.
