Okay, I need your help ASAP.
I have to do some stupid debate on why watching TV programs on your TV is better than watching them on your computer.
I tried thinking up of some reasons, of course, but it's no use!
I think I'm too dumb for this.
Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if you can post some opinions, thanks.

Your TV is an analog device and it will display analog TV signals without any digitizing artifacts. If you watch TV on your computer, the analog signal gets digitized and that introduces blocky artifacts. It can be quite annoying, actually.

The line is getting thinner when it comes to watching TV on a computer vs watching it on a TV. Today most of computer supports TV tuner card that helps to watch TV plus the media center features helps you to record it as well. Of courses DVD recorders can do that as well. The biggest plus point of watching TV on TV would be for "quality experience". If your benchmark is home theater then you could get a 60 inch LCD TV or HD TV coupled with home theater systems. Now that quality may not be available on computer because of compressed video format.

Streaming video takes much more time - you have to download it and then try to watch a jerky little video - now on a 60 inch big screen TV - you can see all the details and even crank up the sound to maximum, it ROCKS
