Well directed death and destruction can do much to rectify many of the worlds's current problems.
Punish the guilty and protect the innocent. War is a messy business fellas and girls. Taking out a few dictators and ridding the world of corruption would be a great way to promote greater compassion for the repressed and poverty-stricken.
Compassion is not all about writing checks. That view is a very limited and short-sighted one. The Libs never seem to understand human nature and the definition of compassion.

Republicans do not contribute to death and destructions Liberals do.
Republicans do not look the other way such as Clinton did with Rwanda where Millions of people died and he did nothing.
Republicans had negotiated a truce in Vietnam that would have needed the US to remain stationed in Vietnam the same way that we were stationed in Korea. Liberals took away the funding in congress the troops came home and a million Cambodians were slaughtered.
Saddam Hussien was responsible for hundreds and thousands of people being gassed to death he also created the worst environmental disaster in the history of the world by setting thousands of Kuwaiti Oil wells on fire. It was the Republicans that fixed the fire wells contractiny liberals favorite company Halliburton and ultimately got Saddam out of power.
Republicans have real human compassion they don't look away when there are big problems in other parts of the world. They don't view animals on a higher plain than humans. They are not FAKE like you are.

I'm a Republican and I do not contribute to death and destruction worldwide. I have compassion but no one has compassion for me.
If James Bond (as portrayed by Sean Connery) were here, he would put the US and Israeli Governments out of business in a heart beat. I'd rather have MI6 than the CIA and Mossad anyday.

Are you mental? Do you seriously believe Republicans love to kill? You are as narrow minded as they come. You seriously lack any understanding of Republicans and assume all the hype you hear from your extreme Democratic friends is true.
So tell me - if I am to believe the extreme Republicans, then you would surrender the USA to Muslim Terrorists, thinking that laying down our arms would show them we are peaceful?
Dear God in heaven I hope you are not that stupid and blind to how our enemies think. They don't care about peace. These people force Islamic conversion on people and kill even their own kind for dreamed up traitorous acts just so they can get to heaven and have sex with 72 imaginary virgins from Allah (for killing Allah's enemies, real or imagined)!

How about volunteering in the NICU and pediatric ward at the hospital? how about going to see elderly people and reading to them at their home? what kind of *human* compassion do you want? Because terrorists declared war on us. They want a fight, I will give it to them. I do not have any compassion for my enemies because then I might consider letting up on them. That would be the death of me. How about you go to Africa and feed some hungry kids? Leave the protecting of our country to people like me. With Conservatives in charge (note not all Republicans have a clue), you will have a country to come home to when you are done saving the world.

You should try to engage Republicans in (calm) debate, and you might find that they *do* have compassion and that they are simply supporting policies that they think will make the American people safer. Liberals and conservatives disagree about so many specific policies because their basic visions about reality (about the state of the world, and our place in it) are entirely different.

1. We don't contribute to death and distruction, we are the only ones who care enough to try and make a difference in this world.
2. Yes, we're the only ones that do! Thats why we try to protect weaker nations, its why we try to teach our youth right from wrong and make them responsible for their choices. Its why we are the Worlds Police Force, no one else has the balls to stand up for what is right.....the world is full of puss*s who are too chicken to stand up for righteousness.
