so i bought a new one i figured out how to get it on but what is the piece on the front left side thats kind of triangle shape and you can twist it either way and it is attatched to springs underneath.What does that do???please help

It's the tracking knob. Turning it one way or the other adjusts your belt so it runs true from front to back and not sliding off the tool. Good Luck !

This either locks the wheels into place or tightens the belt by extending the rollers.good Luck

its to ajust the belt so it doesnt come off.
