Not only tacky, but unsafe. If you decide to go barefoot in public anyway, I suggest you at least make sure your tetanus shot is up to date.

I guess it depends on where you're at. But most of the time it would be tacky. Having dirty feet is not cool.

tacky and gross - the only place i walk barefoot is inside my home and that is because everyone takes their shoes off at the door

It's not tacky nor is it cool but you could step on something and cut your skin and yes, dirty feet! That's not too good to look at.
