My question is: does that mean that It's very unlikely that i will get pregnant right now? I know that stress is very bad when ttc. I dont feel like I'm stressed but does obsessing over getting pregnant have the same effect on my body? any imput will help. thanks!

Yes! If you are constantly thinking about it, you won't get pregnant. Try to get it out of your mind. Plan a little trip for you and your significant other. Keep yourself busy doing things. And when it happens, it happens. You won't have to think about it anymore. Good luck to you!!

stress is definitely a factor in trying to conceive... and obsessing over something could be stressful too... why dont you try engaging in sports, like badminton. It's a stress reliever and it makes u physically fit too. Two things important for a woman who is ttc. I used to play badminton with some of my friends, one of which was having a hard time getting pregnant, and guess what? three of them, including my friend who's ttc, got pregnant...... i dont know if its true or not but i think being active increased their probability of getting pregnant...hope this was a big help

Yes, stress plays a part in it. I know anyone who's seen my posts before gets tired of seeing this from me and I apologize.
It took us 15 years to get pregnant. Just when we'd finally given up, we found out we were pregnant.
I'm not saying it will take that long for you. I'm just saying relax & stop thinking about it constantly, stop stressing over it.

we are also trying to conceive , and I'm obsessed with it too . But I know it is wrong . It is really easy for other people to say stop thinking otherwise you won't be pregnant . but it is really hard not to think . It happens that where ever i look i see babies or pregnant women , what a coincidence..... I say try not to think about it .

I know, and what does EVERYONE say. "Don't think about it." "Don't stress and it'll happen." " My cousin/brothers friend/godmothers son adopted and then they got preg right away." ARRRGH. What I feel like they mean is "Whats WRONG with you?" Maybe I am just over sensitive. Sorry I can't answer BC I want to know too. My doc is all about hormones, and I don't think my ragged nerves can take it! BOL!!!
