Obviously the overwhelming voice leading the Islamic faith preaches clearly that
all Muslims should kill infidels. Mohammad should be accountable for his
religious text which
instruct Muslims to commit violent acts against the world they condemn for
having different religious beliefs. Enraged to the point of rioting in the
streets if a non-Muslim acknowledges the lack of virtue of a "Religion" that
claims to Love God but celebrates killing people.
The Pope finally pointed out the obvious truth which is very much represented by
the violence in the Islamic response. If he were wrong these Muslims would have
instead reached for their Koran and with its words shown he is wrong. Maybe
then he should've apologized. But they proved he was right.
Now the Pope submitted to their intimidating pressure by
apologizing. I'd like know if he disagrees now with his prior
statement?

The pope's speech was all about creating dialogue. He wanted to have talks with Muslim leaders about the contradiction of religion and actions. But unfortunately he tried to open the conversation with an offensive quote. He did not say whether he agreed or disagreed, he just said it. He needed to have more tact then that. I was very offended by the quote and hurt trying to figure out whether or not he himself agrees with it. I think an apology, a real direct apology and retraction of the statement, is necessary to keep peace. Radical Muslims are not excused for violence caused from their offense but the pope has a responsibility to the Catholics and other minority religions living in the middle east to keep the peace.

Sure. Jesus was all about loving your enemy, turning the other cheek, and the pope should be the best person in the world at doing as Jesus would do.
That said.
All I ever hear is Muslim clerics trashing every other religion, destroying 2000 year old Buddhist statues. And then there is the whole jihad thing. And then when they get a little tiny bit of their own medicine there is rioting in the streets.
As someone else already said, these people have proven time after time they are the scum of the earth.

The apology was not necessary, as Pope has not said any thing wrong. But, he has apologised, to quell the protests by the Muslims. If they were really peaceful, as they claim, they should have dropped the matter. But, they don't want peace in the world and so they want more protests and violence. The Iranian supreme leader has called for more protests. That is their mentality..
And Mr. Lala Mustafa Pasha:
Why do you want Islamic flag to be hoisted on Buckingham Palace? Do you want to eliminate all other religions? Do you think there would be peace in this world, if the whole world becomes Islamic? This mentality of yours creates hatred to wards Islam.

All cross-worshippers should apologise for what the pope had to say.
The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was a glorious person. He was a genius - smarter than the whole world put together.
The leader of the Crusades is in enough trouble as it is.
The world is in too much pain because of Crusaders, Zionists, secularists and America-lovers. Here in the UK, everyone loves America and the queen but they should realise that the UK will be at peace when the Islamic flag flies over Buckingham.
Everyone should listen to the prophet's words - their lives would be much better.
Stay away from the words of the violent West, they cause trouble. Submission to Allah is a beautiful life.

no. i think he was a wussy. the pope is a former NAZI..he joined the Hitler Youth back during WW2 and he had Hitler pay for his schooling.
i think it's weak for him to say 'sorry'..especially to those people.
the Pope was speaking the truth about Muslims anyways..why get all pissy when he's just saying what's true?? Those Muslims can't take the honest truth..they're so brainwashed.

Yes, keeping world peace is a sensitive and tactful responsibility. I do believe that he was taken out of context from a study of someone else and that wasn't his thoughts to offend. I am perplexed that the media is leading with his apology and the next story is today's body count of the jihad.........hmmmm

NO! The Pope is supposed to be able to tell the world what is and what is not moral. I find it incredible that he would cave in to political pressure to apologize for telling the TRUTH!

The Pope is a Douchebag (Coming from an ex-catholic, mind you).
OF COURSE he's going to think the Muslim Religion is foul and evil!
THEY DON'T FOLLOW THE CATHOLIC RELIGION!
All religion is a sham. The Pope is trying to be what John Paul was, and he's failing miserably. SHAME.
