Ipod nano question?

What size is the jack on an ipod nano earphone/headset? I bought one that said it was 3.5mm and it's too large; so what size do I look for? Does anyone make a converter/conversion thingy? Also is their an fm transmitter that will work with the nano? Thanks for your help! This is all new to me! DD

If it's too large, the next size down is 3/32. Yes they do have adapters which can be purchased at Radio Shack. Their are FM transmitters that use the 3.5 mm, so you can use the same adapter for the headphone for the FM transmitter.
