God, so many immature bozos, why am I even answering this instead of making breakfast?
First of all Bill Cowher is a Superbowl winning coach, he's finally 1 for 2 and that puts him into a rare and special catagory of coaches. The only "dick-heads" are those immature, classless losers who whine about him.
The Steelers deserved to win EVERY one of their Superbowls of the 70s you "bozo!" That was one of the best teams of all times and if your poor Cowboys (or Raiders) couldn't take it, well tough luck for them! Let's get one thing straight so we won't need to have this conversation again, Superbowls are played and won ON THE FIELD, not in YOUR MIND!
I'm a 100% Seahawk fan and the 'Hawks were robbed by increadibly bad (probably even corrupt) officiating. But that is the fault and responsibility of the officials and the NFL, NOT the STEELERS! They went out and played like true Champions and took home the silverware. To quote a Nixon aide about the 1960 election "they stole it fair and square!"
To actually answer the question properly (sorry, I haven't had my 2nd coffee yet) I think all the historically best teams with the most fans, also have the most "haters" as well, i.e. Dallas, New England, Pittsburg, Denver, Raiders, 49ers and so on.
(I personally hate the Redskins and the Patriots with a passion)

I don't have a problem with the Steelers, but a lot of people probably think they got too many good calls going their way during the Super Bowl last year. Don't get me wrong, some were valid, but there were definitely some calls that shouldn't have gone their way. Big Ben's helmet crossed the goal line, not the football, but they still got the TD. The interference in the end zone could've gone either way, it went the Steeler's way. Hasselbeck getting called for an illegal block on a guy he never touched was laughable! That's the only reason I could figure there would be some haters on here. Maybe a lot of disgruntles Seahawks fans are on here. I'm a Bears fan myself, so I could care less what happens in the AFC until February.

I think because the Steelers have a better chance of beating Jacksonville. Yes, it was a low scoring game, but everyone thinks that this game would have been a high scoring game. The defense on both teams did a great job stopping the player from scoring position or preventing them scoring a touchdown.

It's not the Steelers themselves. It's the fans that think their team is unstoppable that gets on my nerves. Glad the Jaguars won tonight.

I don't necessarily have a problem with the Steelers. I have a problem with their over emotional, immature, ignorant coach...does that count? :-)
I came back to edit. I honestly just do not like the coach! He screams in peoples faces and acts all emotional and loses it at people. He contradicts himself and seems to run on emotion vs. knowledge. It affects his team and not always for the better. I watched him in a players face one time...just spitting all over him...that is so not necessary...Look at some of the other coaches - you don't see many go off the deep end like that! The steelers are good...I think with their talent and a different coach they could be even better. Not a hater, just IMHO

Because I'm a Bengals fan you wouldn't of even won the wild card if Palmer wasn't hurt.....Lewis has the Steelers number and knows your schemes they won't work this year.....Oh yeah Dick LeBeau is a douchebag thankx for unloading that piece of work from us lol
