I've seen Pacino & DeNiro in a lot of these answers, and I agree, they're both great, and it actually doesn't matter what role they're playing, they'll do a good job, and of course, Christopher Walken is a no-brainer. But don't overlook Gene Hackman (Unforgiven, The Firm) and Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs). These two don't just play baddies, they often play baddies with a CONSCIENCE, which I think makes them more interesting. But make no mistake, in my opinion, no badder baddie has ever existed that could top Pacino in The Godfather, parts I and II. He is unequaled.
