The Columbia river is the main river dividing Washington and Oregon.

There are no large rivers that flow from California to other states. The Truckee flows into Nevada. The Colorado peters out below Hoover dam and the dry riverbed is the border between Calfiornia and Arizona. Are you thinking of the Sacramento River? It empties in the San Pablo Bay (something of a northern extension of San Francisco Bay) between Vallejo and Concord.

Your question is really garbled. I think you mean the Columbia between Oregon and Washington. As for California you may mean the Klamath which begins in Oregon and flows to the Pacific in California. Or you may mean the Colorado which forms the border between California and Arizona. Perhaps you should rephrase your question.
