Read all postings with a grain of salt, there are a lot of people posting who simply like to see their name on screen and have no real clue as to what the company even does. There are a lot of spam artists, a lot of kids, posting gibberish that really takes away from the board.

I would suggest that you try and find a moderated board for the companies in which you are interested in. The moderator is there to keep the spam and gibberish to an absolute minimum. It isn't a replacement for actually calling the company and getting information, but moderated forums can be very helpful.
