Because from the beginning of time,we have always been doers.we have to plan what we are going to fix for dinner for our families and budget with the groceries and the bills. If we have multiple kids,we have to plan our day around their schedule especially if they are involved in activities,we have to learn how to have their schedules coincide with our hectic schedules. If we are going on a trip on a picnic, we are usually the ones who packed the bags or the basket so we know what we need ahead of time,We are good at planning because we don't mind asking for directions or asking questions and getting our research. If we schedule a flight,we make sure ahead of time that we got the tickets at the best deal, what day would be best to go,what clothes will fit the climate there, what credit cards we need to take and so forth. But there are a lot of men who are good planners too.

Do you think they are better at planning then men? It's possible, but I'm not so sure it's true.

Men planned and built just about every city on the planet.
Men planned and put together all the major political systems.
Ditto all the major religions, wars, buildings, and technologies such as the space program, energy systems, power plants, dams etc. not to mention such things as universities, government agencies, and all the highways covering the lands of the world.

The fact is that women were left out of much of the above because they were prevented from having power and influence for so long and thankfully that's finally changing now, but still that's an awful lot of planning by men over the course of history, wouldn't you agree?

Human ability opperates on a spectrum. A person isn't good at planning because they are a woman-gendered person, they are good at planning because they are a person who is good at planning.
PS, gender isn't natural. ^_~ For an explanation, please visit link and click "Big3" if you are at all curious to see how anyone could come to the conclusion that gender isn't natural. I mean, sounds like a really bizar idea, right? Well, Big3 is a set of 3 papers that give a comprehensive breakdown of how i come to that conclusion.
Western culture and heteronormative ideas of gender have not been around since the beginning of time ^_~
