we have to write a personal narrative about something that is exciting that happen to you
i want to write about when i was over my granny's house and the phone ring and it was my dad saying to go outside when we went outside he was holding a small dog in his hand. ( thats not all of the story just a little summary). how can i open the introduction.what can i say at the beginning of the sentence to help grab the readers attention?
need help and fast!

Was it out of character for your dad to do something like this? If so, then maybe you can start out by giving a little paragraph that begins "If you knew my dad..."

I was visiting my gran when all of a sudden I got a call from my dad, he sounded very excited and wanted me to go outside. I asked him why but he just said to hurry out and hung up his phone. It was a very strange thing for him to ask me to do but I decided to hurry outside anyway.
