I've heard two different people on two occasions doing this.

Definitely! I also hate to hear some people in the city where I live say "dug" when they're referring to a "dog". Oh, a couple of other mispronunciations that get to me are hearing someone say "skreet" instead of "street", or "skrimp" instead of "shrimp".

I must say that every time I view the clip of GW saying "nuculer", it causes me to laugh.

Grammatical errors are my worst enemy!

Yes, I've heard that too. It's almost as annoying as when people say "Congradulations".
