every race merging into one to create another i think we would start to look similar espeacially if the new formed humans merged together with others. who out there understands me

There was actually a Time magazine article on that about ten years ago... They suggested that, because interracial relationships were becoming popular, that several generations down the line we might all start to blend into a single race. They tried doing some genetics with it and found that the theoretical result would look vaguely hispanic. I don't think it's going to happen for a very long time if ever, though. Even though there are plenty of interracial relationships, most people stick to their own race and take pride in maintaining their ethnicity in generations to come. While it might mean an end to racial discrimination if we all became a single race, it would also mean an end to racial and cultural identities.

Probably,in 3 or 4 hundred years we will all be the same colour.The White Race is already a minority race on a world-wide basis,& with cheap & easy travel,plus the breaking down of racial barriers,it is bound to happen,& that's fine with me,it's the person that counts,not the colour.As an aside:In 20 years or so,the main language in California will be Spanish,(or Mexican,if you like),which is a bit ironic,since the Americans stole California from Mexico.

I would think it would take many many many generations for it to come to pass, but yeah if every race intermixed with every other race, it makes sense that eventually (way down the road) there would just be one race...

i remember a song from either the 60's or early 70's, can't remember the title but "what we need is a great big melting pot, big enough to take the world n all its got" ring a bell, think they might have had a good idea going there!!

Have you seen an interracial person? Don't they look different? They would have different facial features, height, and eye color. All the facial features would come from there parents. My brother and I have the same mother and different fathers, but we have some key features.

Seriously doutfull seeing how there are so many deciding factors that evolution depends on. Such as climate and area to grow.

I could see it happening, but I think it would take a very long time. I mean very very long time. So, no, not really, at least not in our life time. But I think it would be a good idea to make it happen if it could.

It's possible, although there would just be some other differences that groups of people would need to find in order to justify hating other groups.
