Never. A person's beliefs and values dictate who they are as a person. For example, if someone is raised spoiled and impulsive, they will manage money poorly, constantly think about themselves, etc. I find these people are liberals and I cannot stand them. I have all that I need in a relationship and we agree.

I do find a lot of Republican men marry liberal women. They look at the physical attraction and the sex and that is it. In other words, they think with their dick.

Of course - I did - 37 years ago and counting.

Politics is politics - only politics, nothing more.

Lighten up - republicans and democrats come and go - like the seasons - liberal one time, conservative one time, and somewhere down the middle most of the time - regardless of the administration.

Hard times, good times - doesn't really matter what affiliation the President has if he has leadership qualities and a good head on his shoulders. America has, and will outlive even the worst of presidents.

Anyways, do you think politics makes for good pillow talk?

No I could not. I'm a Republican - Libertarian and he is a Libertarian who is mostly Republican, so we fit fine. I could not even date a liberal. I did have a few dates with another Libertarian conservative but when I found out he was racist I wouldn't date him anymore.

It depends on which issues we are talking about. Some it wouldn't be a big deal but big things like abortion and stuff would be a HUGE deciding factor!

I used to believe it would be possible, but since this very polarizing administration has been in power, I have to say absolutely not! I have no respect even for my own family members who voted for Bush!

well, I'm sure you can as long as you don't let it interfere with your relationship. Every couple has differences of opinion but the trick is to give each other that space of individuality.
