only if it will be in his benefit to let it happen

Letting it happen would be a good way to ensure a return of a majority in both the House and Senate. This Pres and his henchman are not above that. They want to stay in office and give tax breaks to the rich and run up the deficit so badly that it is not past them. They lied about WMD in Iraq and they could do it again. LBJ lied about the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, why not the Shrub.

If it's before an election then no. He'll use that and tell people "look what I did, vote Republican". If it's after an election then no. He'll let it happen then use that as an excuse to invade another oil rich country that never attacked us.

He will also use that as an excuse to take away more of our freedoms, privacy's, and liberties under so called "national security".

After a few more attacks and a few more freedom taking then BAM!! It's George Orwells 1984.

He didn't let it happen in the first place - but he sure used the opportunity to push his agenda. I'm sure he would try and stop it if he could, but I'm equally sure he would politicize it for his advantage. Emperor Bush, it has a nice ring to it.

Due to that incompetent criminal president, yes he will allow another terror attack to occur on our soil!

That would probably depend on how close to the election the attack was to happen.

President Bush did not let "it" happen. Question is, "What are you willing to do to protect this country from terrorism?"

No, because then he will get grilled about his National Security plan, and will screw the Republicans in the election. Also, I doubt anyone would ever "let it happen."

He didn't let it happen the first time, he just didn't have good info. He got the WMD info from the same people.
