I dont want to BE an actress, but I would like to learn the craft. I think I would be pretty good, im pretty dramatic =P
What do I do?! I go to jr. college, so, my options are limited!

practice practice practice (alone ,during social events, in front of the mirror, etc;) acting can be very fun (try it on your friends but don't let them know)

Becoming an actress is not as easy as just being dramatic or wanting to be famous. Wanting to become a big time hollywood star is sort of an unrealistic goal... BUT the world of theater and entertainment have so much to offer and is a much more feasible plan. First I would encourage you to sign up for the acting classes at your school. Also, audition for the plays there... the more you get involved.. the quicker you'll learn. There is SO MUCH out there. I've just recently got into acting and I LOVE it... but it has been very challenging and requires a LOT of decipline. So take it seriouslly, but have fun along the way. When you graduate from Junior College, enroll in a university with a good theater department and major in theater. After you get your B.A., go to graduate school and get a MFA in theater.
By then you will be well-rounded in the craft of acting.
Also, auditon for regional theater productions. Talent Agents and Casting Directors like to see regional theater on resumes.

Many cities and even smaller towns have community theater. Try out for a part. It will give you experience and teach you all aspects of the trade. Direction, sets, costume, etc. You won't get paid, but all actress need to start somewhere!!

take classes and then go to a play that is out right now and study how the act. then try to audition in a play if u get a important part MAKE sure u act really well so u can be heard/remember.KEep on doin this and u could be reconise

get lots of cosmetic surgery and start trying out in NY and CA.
