maybe you should get a picture of a black widow spider that you like, then get the shape or outline of a butterfly you like and use photoshop and put them together until it at least kinda looks like what you want. Then you can take it to an artist and they can probably render you something they can work with. Just make sure it's something you REALLY like. I had a friend who didn't and she still regrets it now (10 years later).

When I got my first one, I had a mess of things that I wanted in one tat. My tatoo artist drew it up for me. Tip: Check out real photos of real tats that the artist has done. Also, ask what they recommend for after care consructions. If it involves plastic wrap in any way, run away as fast as you can. Plastic wrap can ruin a tat. It will make the colors fade. It should be covered with non-stick gauze for only the first few hours and A&d ointment is the only thing that you should use on it while healing. Wash it VERY gently with an anti-bacterial soap every day. Don't even let the water from the shower hit it directly. Also, the best of artists will draw up your design for free. The only ones that charge to draw are ones that don't make a lot of money or if you have a very complicated tat that will take hours to draw up the design which yours does not sound like it will be. Good Luck!

Try explaining your idea to the artist & have the artist do a drawing on paper prior to having it made into a tattoo. When you have what you want on paper, you can have it turned into a tattoo.

Do you know any artists? Ask them to draw a design for you.

There are a lot of magazines with tattoo designs; you might look in one of those too.

It's a cool idea; I can kind of "see" it in my head. . .but I can't draw worth a damn so I'm of no help to you there : )

I would go to the tattoo artist you are planning on going to and ask him/her to help you with the drawing.
