Magazines, do you really depend on them?

Question

Example I was getting my hair cut the other day and all they had was vogue and elle magazines. I donot read these magazines since they don't apply to real women

I was looking at all the hideous clothes the models were wearing and im thinking do people really wear that god awful stuff? I mean someone must to keep the designers in business.

Just like at a fashion show and some model is wearing a shower curtain as shorts, Ive never seen anyone wearing that?
does this annoy you? I think they think we are stupid and want to wear that stuff.
So do you buy shorts that are shower curtains and pay 2,000 grand for them>?

LOL. But you're right. I also used to wonder why these magazines features impratical clothing style. Of course no oone would like to wear a shower curtains short--- it's a pity how our society lead the people to believe that if they wear these things models wear, they're going look like the model, or at least more beautiful. Tsk tsk...

Magazines? do I really depend them? Yup, for a time, I had, I guess our eyes depend on them when we get bored, I say because i love magazines. But know what? Once I feed my self with these magazines, I only not get addicted in the need to see the new issue, I also have that "I-need-to-have-that, or that I-neeed-to-wear-that" feeling." Nobody could help not to, well not if you're not addicted to magz, because afterall, what we see in the magazines look pleasing.

And who doesn't want to look pleasing?

But for this time, I'm kinda growing and learning, I could depend on magz for practical tips and styles, and not for extravagance, or for those crazy fantasy attires.

a mag and a clip are no longer the comparable element. A clip is the gadget that holds the shells and is inserted into the magazine. asserting a clip is the comparable as a mag is like asserting a sock is the comparable as a boot. once you load a handgun, you placed the bullets into the clip, then you insert the clip into the magazine. the comparable holds actual for some rifles. Shotguns do no longer commonly have a clip, in user-friendly terms a mag.

I get Blender every month just to keep up with what new or worth checking out in the music world. I agree with you i'll take a real woman over any of the so called Beautiful People. They wouldn't be in my Top 50.

Even though I am a woman, the only fitness magazine I read is Men's Health. I get so sick of the women's fitness magazine with the scrawny, no muscle women on the cover.

I don't like them either, since there is no way i would be caught dead in something that looks as if it had just been cut out of a towel. I like country living, craft magazines, home improvement, and magazines that depict who and how I live.

yeah i never see people in r/l wearing clothes that fashion designers show at fashion shows either. i'm looking for the people magazine when waiting for an appointment.

I stopped looking at those mags years ago, no one wears that stuff unless they have money to burn and need to keep up with the next model/actress......throw them out.

magazines are sell outs man.. they'll say anything just to get more readers.. how they make their money is from the Advertising.. so that's like a total conflict of interest.. i don't trust magazines at all.
