Well, that's all we can do here is guess, we can't actually lay a hand on your car through a computer screen. Last time I checked I had a pulse, and was considered "live". If you want a one on one with a technician, take it in for repairs. The best you are going to get here is a guess based on the amount of information your question has in it. More detailed question, leads to a more detailed answer. I always try to help, no matter what question I am answering, unless, it is a silly question and I am making a joke. Ask a question and it will be answered to the best of our ability, you choose the most pratical answer to you, or take it to a repair shop, or both. We use wrenches, not magic wands, and I don't have ESP, wish I did, I could have fixed your ride already and the bill is in the mail:)

another problem with online is trying to relate something in words that click and clack on NPR have a problem with by phone sometimes...

as Yugie and the rest have said, there are many of us who are techs who get enjoyment doing our own version of click and clack here and the more information, the more answers.... I deal with the public occasionally in my job as a pro tech and I've heard all the names of things so sometimes I can sometimes relate in what they are asking about if they don't know the name of it.

BUt we do get people who can agrivate and people won't answer becasue the question is either stupid or else.

BUt techs are also like doctors, each has his own opinion on things... and some techs who work at the dealer are like specialist doctors and see that same problem over and over that others have problems with whereas the general tech (who would be like a general practicioner) sees problems over a bigger playing field and can answer more questions right on the different cars than I (I can shade tree most car lines but specialize in FoMoCo products professionally for example)

Throw the question out on here and email those who gave the emails out on here and see what the general thinking is...

I can try to help you, but dont know how to contact you. You could e-mail me at powderalice@yahoo.com, or I am on Yahoo! Messenger. I don't have all the answers, but I'm pretty good at figuring things out. I've been a mechanic for most of my life and have worked on everything from bicycles to 18 wheelers.

want to find a live person to talk to about car problems with out leaving or changing the symptoms and knows what make, model, year and engine size, they are experiencing the problems with.

I would be glad to help. BUT
1) Don't type well
2) Not sure how the chat thing works. Never done it.
