i want an answer

I assume you mean your "lip". Put it this way, if you're unsure, DON'T DO IT.
You can buy fake no-pircing rings that you can pop on and see how it looks, but IMHO it's not a good look to see a metal head.

Lip rings, like tongue rings, damage your teeth and speech abilities.
And there are so many nerves under your eyebrows, if it's pierced the wrong way your face will get paralysed to some extent. Even now I see lots of people with damaged teeth because they thought their mouth piercing was sooo cool. Not to mention dribble problems, kissing issues etc. It's trendy now but I think it's as ugly as hell.

But then again, it's completely up to you. Just be prepared for the consequences down the track.

I dont know what a pip is, but the skin will grow back but you will still be able to see where it was pierced.

yep, it leaves a mark, and it is worse if you ever get an infection...but go on and be a lemming, follow the crowd and tell yourself what an individual you are by getting pierced

the skin will grow back, just won't grow back to the way before it's pierced.
