there are pop stars like fergie, britney spears, cassie, rihanna, aly & aj, who just look good but just cant seem to sing.

how did madonna last in the music business all these years?

Kid, These days, you can have laryngitis & still become a pop singer. Programs like Pro Tools would see to that.

Don't have talent? Doesn't matter. Just look good & you're halfway there...

Anyone can become a pop star, but I still fall firmly into Alice Cooper's camp. A stage show is one thing, but the music is most important. If you don't have the voice, or the understanding, to make music, then all you've got is a movie and not a serious song. Where is the music? Where is the song? Where is the talent to bring the song to life?

Bring on the music first & then add stage show & presence to the tune. That's where true talent lies.

to become a successful pop singer, you definitely dint need to have a great voice but shure it would help.. singin in tune would almost get you there..
what you really need most is good songs.. and a good music producer.

If you look good it doesn't matter if you can't sing. They can correct your pitch and everything with computers nowadays. As long as you look cute they can sell you.
