Does anyone think Charlie Batch would have been the better play tonight against Jacksonville? Big Ben looks like he's feeling the effects of his appendectomy.

Rothlisberger is normally the better quarterback, but be is still feeling bad after his appendectomy. He had a fever of 104! They shouldn't have played him tonight. and Polumolu isn't completely healed up, either! Did you notice the way his arm was hanging? OUCH! Should have played Batch, since Big Ben isn't healthy!

Possibly I Think That Ben Was Rushed A Little To Much Needed More Practice Time To Work His Way Back Into The System, Batch May Have Been The Better Choice For A Couple Of Games

Perhaps some people forgot but Ben is just coming back from an injury. He may be a little rusty..Cowher doesn't know when to bench QBs, it's what got Maddox thrown out of Pittsburgh for playing so bad when he was hurt and clearly not ready to play. It's a 16 game season, Cowher. Batch would have been better, probably still would have lost.

well batch had a good game against miami but big ben's record was 27-4 before today now is 27-5 as a starter in the nfl
but 27-4 looks impressive and ben is a great QB because if the wasnt tommy maddox would be still playing for the steelers so i reakon big ben was a good choice

and seawaguy steelers are AFC North

Ben on crutches has to be better than Charlie Batch on his best day.

Batch is nothing more then a backup. You have to send your starter out there to win games and that is Big Ben

Typical Stillers fan that you would EVER even ask this question. It's like asking if a man with 20/20 vision or Stevie Wonder should drive.

who know's Batch is only a so-so quarterback on the pro-level - Ben is the real deal (or has been).

It might have made a difference, but I think alot of teams will struggle against Jacksonville's defense.
