Our dreams are our subconscious bringing to the surface any issues of importance that we may or may not be repressing. So if you think your dreams are better than your real life, then you probably are unhappy and should look into doing the things and making the changes that will make you happy. Personally, my dreams never make any sense to me (the last one I recall was a dinosaur petrified in a tree that suddenly came to life and walked across the street taking out the houses with it while I stared out the window and then went outside trying to convince my 12 year older sister to come inside where it wouldn't see her), but I don't tend to repress anything and live my life so that I have no regrets. But I suspect there may be more than meets the eye to my dreams.

I don't know about better, but they're certainly a lot more active and adventurous. I don't think I'd change anything: I mean, they've usually got a plot, some interesting 'characters,' and are fun in their own way.
Lately, I've been dreaming that I'm a member of a cat-like alien race's army, and we're defending our home planet.
I hate to brag, but I'm getting pretty darned good with that dream laser!

Definitely, in my dreams I have been President of the US 3 times, Head of the Mafia, Director of the FBI, Winner of 20 majors and more.

I often times have pretty awesome dreams. And sometimes they are so real, I could swear they took place with another "me" somewhere in a parallel universe. LOL. Oh well, one can only dream.... LOL
