how to get a girl who is just my friend but has a boyfreind?

well i like this girl very much. we are freinds but nothing else, she just got this boyfreind who i never met but she seems to like him. Im a really nice guy i respect a girl i will never hit on her but because im so nice i cant get a girl. I try putting nice clothes and smelling good and saying nice htings and all but i think she just wants to be freinds can someone please help me before uts to late 4 me thank you
