Sea monkeys are real they are a species of shrimp. Kids love them cos they are so easy to keep and fun to watch

Sea monkeys are brine shrimp, you feed them to fish.
the stuff floating in your bottled water is what we like to call BACKWASH! it occurs when you get a drink and the water goes back into the bottle.
Brine shrimp can't live in bottled water, you need to purify the water first.

Sea monkeys are actually real. They are called Triops, and many other names too. They live in water and are a good first pet for children. They only get like an inch long, and live in a fish bowl, no tank needed.

yes Sea Monkeys are actually a species of Brine Shrimp, thats it nothing magical or mystical & no they dont look like the creatures on the package!!! LOL LOL!!! it was jsut a sly little marketing ploy way back when to lure kids into wanting "cool little pets"

They are evil monkeys of the Mojo Jojo kind who cleverly camouflage themselfs as Brine Shrimp.
Should you ever fall under their spell and actually order some they will first rob you of your sleep while you desperatly are waiting for them. Then, once the package finally arrived after 8 weeks or so, they will act as if they were dead, upon which you will probably pour them out ... WARNING ! .. it's a ruse ... you are actually freeing them into the big world where they can act upon their evil plans.

Actually they are not "Brine Shrimp". They are "Fairy Shrimp".
Brine Shrimp are Artemia Salina.
Sea Monkeys or Fairy Shrimp are Artemia NYOS
