Its true Arnold wasn't born in this country, but suppose he was eligible to run, could he beat Oprah? I think so! But what's your opinion ? Neither one of them will run so we don't have to worry. This is a question asking if they did run, what would be the outcome?

Oprah would probably take a leave of absence so she could do her show from the White House. Arnold doesn't want to make movies anymore, so, he'd have an adv antage over her.

I like Schwarzenegger and voted for him the first time around and am helping this time myself, making calls, trying to get out the vote. Yes, Arnold has made some dumb mistakes. But I forgive him for that because he's learning as he goes and he's sincere in his beliefs. He's also a moderate. The last thing in the world this country needs is another conservative or liberal president.
As far as Oprah goes, I nothing about her politics or her political views. Hell, I don't even know if she votes or what party she belongs to. But she is intelligent, well-loved and trusted.
How about the two of them on the same ticket?

Orin Hatch was considering bringing a constitutional amendment to allow foreign-born US citizens to be president (I'm an English-born US citizen, so I was kinda curious).
But I was amazed when the governator won. I was even more amazed - the better he did the job, the worse his approval rating became - I guess those SoCal voters won't want anyone to do the job, they just want someone to blame (and Gray Davis was great for that).

Neither. Both are idiots. Actors and musicians should stay out of politics. Their political opinions don't count and they should stick to doing what we want them to do...act or sing.
Here are a few wise comments from Alice Cooper on performers and politics...."When I was a kid and my parents started talking about politics, I'd run to my room and put on the Rolling Stones as loud as I could. So when I see all these rock stars up there talking politics, it makes me sick.
"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."

Oprah has zero credentials, has already damaged the country enough, and can't even keep one man happy.

Oprah. I think Arnold ticked everyone off (incl. me) by switching to be a Republican and supporting Bush. I say screw him!

I don't know or care what the supposed outcome would be. The true question should be who would make a better leader? And that's a tough one... Let's elect them jointly and make them work it out.
