waht color shoes should i wear with my white dress.?

It's a simlpe white dress with no prints on it and ends at my knee and fitted. I have kinda long black hair. I want that elegant look for a wine and cheese event. Not sure if high heeled black pointy shoes would do the job...

If you have black hair, I think black heels and a black bag with a white dress would be very nice. Yes, you could wear white shoes but it would be a little bridal, I think.

The black accessories would somehow be more chic and sophisticated. About 3 1/2 inch heels would be right. I can picture it with a clutch bag, but with wine and cheese, you're probably going to be standing holding wine so maybe a small black bag with a thin shoulder strap.

Actually she doesn't look to have a great figure but somehow it is very striking. I know it's a skirt and top, but it gets some of the look across.

You definitely want a good pump here. Nothing too high or glitzy. Think more classic and elegant.

Try a two tone shoes in white and another color, or white shoes with a color in the accents and/or decorations. Too much white may look bridal, but the all black you suggested may look too mis-matched if you don't add black to other accessories like a black and white wrap or purse.

Try something like this, just not the black and pink. Maybe the black and white or white and pink. The peacock may look too bright.

What color purse are you gong to be carrying? If its any color other then white, match the shoes to the purse. If the purse is white (or you won't have a purse) there are many types of shoes that would look wondeful.

White sandals or flats would look nice and dignified, but a bit boring. Don't forget, white goes with anything, (although an all white ensemble with black shoes is a bit much) now is your chance to wear a pair of pretty shoes you hardly ever get a chance to wear.

A pair of gold or silver ballet flats would be beautiful, subtle (yet not boring like wearing all white), and very fashionable (metallic accessories are in right now!).

keep it simple do your hair big and add a trendy head band match your shoe with the head band, either metallic or a multi color fabric shoe that has white in it. or try a black and white head band and a black and white shoe it might be easier to find and you can use the accessores with other outfits.

If you want to be sexy, go with some nice, elegant white stilletos. But if you want that demure, I-want-to-be comfortable look, go with some open-toe pumps or flats. Or try some kitten heels. I'm trying to imagine your dress, and I don't think black shoes would look good with it.

Go with a vibrant or fav color ( as long as it isn't too loud ) any thing would prob. go just make sure you accesorize with matching colors or try to accentuate maybe with a hair clip if you aren't big on purses, necklaces, or earrings. Just have fun with your own style and do something different that everyone else and I'm sure you'll look and feel great!!!

They would work if you had a black shawl and/or a black purse to go with it. But I understand why you dont want to wear all white after labor day.
