I was fired from a retail job. They wouldn't give me a reason when I asked because it was one more day and my probation period was up. The only thing that I could think of was that there was constantly inventory up and down, I know it wasn't from me because I counted everything every night and was very very careful, I even had my spouse come in at night and double check everything with me because things seemed to be going missing all the time and I was getting blamed for it.
On a higher note, that place was a complete and total s h i t hole to work. I was the manager and the younger girls were taking advantage of me and the chick above me was a real beotch and didn't like me. Oh well, they are a bunch of losers and I am somewhere better now!!!!

Yes--I was an Apartment Manager and they fired me after I told the higher-ups that 'I HATED MY JOB'
Not a bad thing--to lose a job you don't like anyways.
Better to try different types of jobs and grow as a person-instead of being stuck in the same endless job for years!

I was once. I delivered furniture and set up water beds . A friend and I were to take over the store, when the manager left to open another one in a different town.
A couple goofs partied with that manager almost every night. The morning I was to help him move ,he comes in late as usual told my friend and I that there was a meeting and we didn't fit in with the company any more and we were terminated. Of course he said I could finish the week, in other words help him move. I laughed and tossed him the van keys and walked out.

I was never fired but three of my friends and myself walked out of our jobs once many years ago.

Never been fired, but I did get laid off. The restaurant where I worked went out of business.

i've held 5 jobs in 21 yrs (i've been at my current job for 16 of those 21) & i have never been fired.

I was told by my employer not to show up for my last shift at Burger King. It is a long and confusing story, BUT to make it short, my assistant manager who wanted revenge on me for past abuses decided to attempt to "write me up" at THE FRONT COUNTER in front of loads of customers for leaving my post to sweep the floor. I told her that she should have called me to the office to do it and i refused to sign her sh*t. I was NOT FIRED according to my employment record sheet given by the owner, though.

me....am a retired RN....once I got so fed up/pi$$d off I threw a major tantrum at work....they fired me, but I also quit....I would not have put my licence on the line for that job from â â£â®ââ another second anyway.

current job for 20yrs(smile)
