I mean any type of pet that is easily available. Not like a lion or a crocodile or an elephant. I would just like serious answers

A cat pissed on me once while I was sleeping, I was not too happy with that development.

Obviously answers will differ between all people. I myself have a dislike for cats since most aren't very friendly and scratch/bite people. Though not all cats are like this, of course. I have seen cats that are very well-behaved and friendly. Also, fish have very short life spans and are kind of boring in my opinion.

But of course there are all sorts of people in the world and everyone will like a certain animal that someone else might hate.

I assume you mean a pet that can be purchased at a pet store. I'd have to say any of the python snake types. Not an intelligent choice for a pet if you ask me. I don't want a "pet" that can eventually eat me!

Another bad choice would be a pit bull, even though they CAN be great dogs, they require more training and attention than most people are able to devote to them.

I'd say turtles and rabbits. They make greats pets, but are so often neglected. People don't understand what it takes to take care of them. Rabbits can't be in a cage all day, and turtles can't live in a little bowl.

I never liked ferrets that much, and they stink up your house and hide all your stuff, so I'd say a ferret.

Their two animals not allowed in my house: cats and rabbits, but since cats are more popular I'll say cats. They get their damn hair all over the place, you have to change their foul smelling litter and they think they are in charge...Man I hate cats.

Ferret- hands down! I wanted one sooo bad when I was 16, and OMG they made a horrid mess, stink and are really obnoxious.
I do have to admit, I did not do my research! My fault- he went to a good home though.

I'd have to go with birds. They're messy, noisy and you can't really pat them or play with them that much.

ferrets and guinea pigs are totally gross. guinea pigs smell and ferrets are just creepy. hermit crabs are sorta cool, but they can give you salmonella, which is not cool. oh, and birds totally creep me out.
