I'm very shy around people. I don't know why, I just am. I thought I would've grown out of it when I got older. It seems to not be happening. I've never worked in my life and I've got my first job dealing with addicts. They are there to stay sober to keep there children. I don't really know how I should talk to them when I don't even know if they are really trying to keep their children. They have a funny way of showing it. I can't get to close with my clients cause it may hinder me from doing my job. If you know any way I can get unshy and try to speak out when I should please give me some insight of what you think I should do.

if these people are addicts you just have to keep it real...don't put up with any BS...be honest with them..say what your thinking but obviously be somewhat nice about it...not working is going to be at a disadvatage for you...mainly because your not gonna truely know how to work with people effectivly...
