serious answers please, we have a chain link fence and this stupid cat loves to warm up on the kids swing set, behind our storage shed, etc. We have NEVER fed it and I have even hissed at it a few times to shoo it away but it's there almost every morning or noon. i hate cats!

Set up a sprinkler near the swing set, and when the cat arrives, turn on the water.

Set a sprinkler out by the swing set. Every time the cat comes in your yard, turn it on- it will eventually learn that swing sets = wet kitty and stop coming around.

Ask animal control if they might assist. Otherwise, you may just have to live with it. You say you hate cats. Well, life is not all about what YOU like and sometimes we have to ut up with things we don't especially like. It doesn't sound like it is harming anything. Chill out and let the cat be. It hisses to warn you to stay away. Ignore it as best you can. Like I said, chill. This isn't a biggie.

Well im sorry to inform that there is no miracle drug. Your going to have to trap this cat and bring it to your local Pound. Get a small cage and put some fish in tha dish and the cat should trap itself, then all you do is dispose of it.

Call your local Humane Society or animal shelter and explain the situation. Are you sure this cat is a stray? It may belong to a neighbor. Ask around.
Please don't do anything to harm it.

Let the dog out! A pellet gun can be effective without killing the creature. Cats are persistant, but do have a good memory. If something happens that causes pain, it probably won't be back.

Bait some mousetraps with something cats like. He goes to get it--snap! sore paw. Also, cats hate red pepper. Makes them sneeze a lot for a long time.

I dislike cats too. I called the dog pound awhile back over a cat and they picked it up, not everyone likes cats, I have no idea why I don't but I never have!!!!!!!

Call your humane society. They should come and take it away. I love cats and most all animals and am glad you aren't using a gun!

DO NOT FEED IT! make sure there is nothing out there for it to eat. check for kittens. Get a have a heart trap and once you have captured it drop it off around the local walmart. HASTA laVISTA KITTY
