It's very scary to think about it. I read about them sneaking nukes into the US already via MS-13 smugglers (that El Salvadorian gang). Is this true or just crazy rumors?

I'm not sure if it's true or not. After 9/11, I don't want to brush off reports of what Al-Qaida are doing. We've already seen that there are fanatical nuts out there who will do anything and kill anyone to advance their agenda. On the other hand, I don't want to live under a rock, afraid to breathe too loudly for fear that the terrorists may attack again. So, let's hope that they are just rumors. If they're not, then let's hope that our government isn't asleep at the wheel!

I don't even believe Al Qaeda was responsible for 9/11, so how could they use a nuke on us?
The Soviet Union had thousands of nukes pointed at us, now that was a real threat. But some namby pamby group like Al Qaeda being able to set off even one nuke here? Forget it.

I'm not exactly one of these conspiracy theorists or paranoid people. But the US being attacked with an Al-Qaeda nuke is pretty inevitable...

when you think about it, it does seem inevitable. technology has always spread, and nuclear technology is no exception. with such large numbers of people in the world hating the US it seems inevitable that this will happen someday, regardless of how good security is.

I guess you'll know when it goes off...unless you are too close. But, at least you'll know that we haven't offended any illegal aliens by protecting our own borders.
