1) the batter can be "walked"
2) the pitcher can walk/run w/ the ball to first base "to make a play". (as in: someone is trying to steal - he can tag them out...)
3) the first baseman can walk/run there to take his position.
4) a coach can walk/run there to "coach" a player.
5) an umpire can run/walk there to "witness" a play.
6) and umpire can walk/run there to to "call" a play.
and, last, but not least
7) a "fan" can walk/run there to "act like a fan/jerk!"

2. Base on Balls
3. Error
4. Hit By Pitch
5. Strikeout (dropped pitch)
6. Interference
7. Ground Out (Fielder's Choice)

a pitcher hit the player
a strike out but the pitcher loses the ball and he reaches first

those are the only ones i know

strike out with wild pitch (is this possible?)
strike out with passed ball (error on catcher)

3. strikeout, catcher misses, run to first
4. put ball in play, fielder commits error (no hit scored)
5. put ball in play, fielder's choice to another base
6. fielder's interference

8. balk with no man on base???
