1) the batter can be "walked"
2) the pitcher can walk/run w/ the ball to first base "to make a play". (as in: someone is trying to steal - he can tag them out...)
3) the first baseman can walk/run there to take his position.
4) a coach can walk/run there to "coach" a player.
5) an umpire can run/walk there to "witness" a play.
6) and umpire can walk/run there to to "call" a play.
and, last, but not least
7) a "fan" can walk/run there to "act like a fan/jerk!"

a pitcher hit the player
a strike out but the pitcher loses the ball and he reaches first
those are the only ones i know
